Our Offices

Studio Calcagni is located in Rome, a few minutes from Porta Pia where a huge statue of a sharpshooter represents the soldiers commanded by General Raffaele Cadorna as they broke through the walls of Rome on the morning of 20 September 1870. They stormed through the 30 metre gap to occupy the city, until then governed by the Popes.
This moment in the Italian Risorgimento signifies the annexation of Rome to the Kingdom of Italy, bringing an end to the Papal reign over Italy.
Rome was later declared the capital of Italy.
